Internet conspiracy theorists have found a new target in their maddening search for understanding the universe and it's a 121-year-old photo from the Yukon Territory of Canada, featuring a picture of three girls extracting water from a well.
The shocking part, as theorists are quick to point out is the striking resemblance that one of the young girls has to Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.
And as it goes with these theories, nothing making any damn sense. People began to claim that Greta was a time traveler, "sent back in time to warn us of our impending doom", which is backwards because if that is her then she was sent forward in time, and if she was sent forward in time, how would she know about the future?
But alas, that didn't stop people from raving about it online.
The photo was found on the University of Washington's website and was met with claims that it had been altered or photoshopped to look more like Greta, but these claims are unfounded. The image is authentic and does look a lot like Greta Thunberg, there is no denying that, but to say she's a time traveler is just dumb and boring.
If you're going to create some grand narrative about time travel and all that crap you at least need to be consistent. How could she know the future if she's from the past, you idiots!
Can't believe that the Express has published this and then taken it down: "‘Greta Thunberg’ spotted on 120-year-old photo triggering bizarre alien claims on web" pic.twitter.com/lxK9xrRVd2

This is no councidence! @GretaThunberg has done this time travel a thousands times to get it right. Knowing exactly where, when & what to do to get the result of chain reaction. If you think it’s incredible that a 16year old girl can get this powerful. Think again.
